Anna Katherine + Russell || Intimate Bay St. Louis Wedding

Anna Katherine and Russell are the kind of couple that become your friends from the get go. I loved getting to meet them at Kerri’s wedding planning office at the Wedding Collection and hear all their plans for their day. Their vision was so fun, and joyful, and inspired by Anna Katherine’s love for all things Disney. Anna Katherine is a Beauty…figuratively and literally. haha. She was Beauty at Disney World for a number of years, and I loved that they wanted to incorporate elements of that season of her life into their wedding (I just don’t see how anyone else in the world could be more like Belle than this gal!).

I loved when I got the call that they were still planning to go ahead with their wedding on 7/11. I know that that’s a very hard decision to make, and there’s honestly no wrong decision when couples choose what is right for them. So even though their wedding might look a little different than what they expected, I think it felt exactly how they expected…full of so much joy, celebration, and love. Also, there is an extra sweetness to weddings that are a little smaller, and I think that a lot of couples who are choosing to forgo the big wedding in order get married are finding an unexpected gift in this. For example, we took a detour to my studio (decked out by the incredible Martha from The French Potager) and that probably wouldn’t have happened if they had had a large guest count…there’s always pressure to get through the photos as quickly as possible so you don’t keep your guests waiting.
