The beauty of every moment…

It all started in 2006 at Lake Berryessa in Northern California as I was struck by the beauty of a photo a friend took. It wasn’t a photo of the lake or trees, or even my friends, it was of my converse shoes laying on the side of the lake. I remember thinking how there is so much beauty in the world just right under our noses, but we don’t usually notice it. We just haven’t been taught how to look for it.

Two years later I moved to Mississippi to be closer to my family, and began to take a camera on walks to find beauty. Not long after, a coworker, inspired by my random photos of birds and broken down buildings I would find on my walks, asked if I would shoot her daughter’s wedding. That was 2011 and it’s been the most amazing journey ever since. I’m passionate about showing my clients how much beauty there is in their story…that maybe they never even noticed.
