Meg + Travers || New Orleans, LA Wedding

You know you love what you are doing when you feel like you need to pinch yourself sometimes.  Sitting down to edit Meg and Travers wedding definitely gave me all of those feelings.  Meg and Travers are both news reporters in New Orleans and definitely both killing it in their fields (Meg works for Fox, and Travers works for NBC. . .which are apparently the news rivals in town, ha!). Could be intimidating photographing their wedding right?!  But crazy enough, not once did I feel that way!  I could tell from the get go that they are my ideal couple...down to earth, kind, outgoing, never meets a stranger type of people.  The kind who make it an absolute joy to serve.  We met up at their reception site, the Ritz Carlton, a few months before their wedding, just so they could show me the layout of the place (so helpful when you love to pre-visualize before you shoot!).  As we were wrapping up, they told me their plans for the evening. . .ride their bikes together and grab an appetizer or drink at a few places as they watch a parade.  So not only are they a vocational powerhouse of a couple, they truly know how to slow down and enjoy life together.  How amazing is that?!
