Bay St. Louis, Mississippi Engagement || Regan + Ryan

I’ve been so excited to work with Regan and Ryan for a few months now! I met up with them at The Wedding Collection, in Bay St. Louis, a few months ago at their consult, and instantly we just clicked! They are down to earth, funny, adventurous, and honestly the fact that Ryan said he hates taking photos made me like them even more. lol. I always appreciate when people tell me where they are coming from with photography, and since my primary way to capture folks is through telling their story…through movement, emotion, moments…it never concerns me much when one of the folks says they hate taking photos. Truth be told that approach works best on the wedding day, because there are so many moments happening everywhere! But the engagement session is the time to practice the few poses and prompts that I’ll use on their wedding day…and to help them get comfortable working with me. Regan and Ryan totally blew my expectations out of the water! And I love that this shoot has a few different “moods” to it. I’d say the first is definitely an LL Bean feel. Then we went into a romantic Ralph Lauren, nautical look. And lastly I love the romantic shots that came so natural at the end! SO LL Bean to Ralph Lauren to Vogue. I dig it.
