Gabby + Michael's Wedding Day Sneak!

Anyone else here a big fan of Januarys?! I love new starts , and January is one of my favorite months of the year. 2024 is the year for me to re-commit to my love of storytelling in weddings, and Gabby and Michael’s was the perfect place to start! Because they booked Ricky and me for extra time, there was lots of time to just observe and capture the unique beauty and joy of their day. Their day was so sweet and they are literally the easiest people to hang out with…extra points to Michael for laughing at my awkward jokes throughout the day. haha! My favorite moments are capturing Gabby’s sister, Cat, getting Gabby into her wedding dress. They have such a wonderful sister bond. Gabby and Michael had a wonderful first look and they kept each other laughing throughout the shoot. And finally I loved capturing the table shots as the couple went to each table at the reception to receive a blessing and cards. I love this Vietnamese wedding tradition (which one table spending most of time singing Backstreet Boys with the couple!!).

Big thanks to the French Potager for bringing Gabby’s rustic vineyard, rust toned vision to life with her stunning florals! The Wedding Collection couldn’t have made the day run any more smoothly with their impeccable planning and coordination! (And that incredible disco ball arrangement at the reception was the brain child of the amazing Matt of the Wedding Collection!) HD hair and makeup got all the girls dolled up with lots of time for us to capture Gabby’s first look with her bridesmaids and some stunning solo bridal shots before her first look.
