Bay St. Louis, Mississippi Wedding || Andree + Patrick

“We love each person dearly” Andree told me in their wedding day questionnaire (where we plan out their timeline and shot list) and she asked that Ricky and I get lots of photos of their people. :) These two are so others focussed, down to earth, and kind, that shooting Andree and Patrick’s day truly felt like hanging out with long time friends and not work at all! They met when they were working at summer camp during college, and fell in love in the mountains and in front of waterfalls. And actually their first official date involved having to rescue a woman and her son off the side of the mountain….these two were made for adventure!

We started out their day as Andree and Patrick got ready next door to one another. Both have lots of siblings (Andree has 7 and Patrick has 5!), so there was lots of laughter and lots of sibling jabs. haha! Next I shot Andree’s prewedding photos at Our Lady of the Gulf Church in Bay St. Louis. Her wedding dress was so simple and elegant and it totally fits her personality! Her girls had on the most beautiful emerald green dresses (one of my favorite colors). Patrick’s prewedding photos took place at Our Lady of the Gulf Church as well, while Andree and her girls relaxed in the bridal room. Both of them are seriously naturals in photos…I think it's because they were just excited to be there and marry their best friend.

Our Lady of the Gulf Church was still decorated so beautifully for Christmas, and had a gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony. It was a heartfelt, meaningful ceremony, and Patrick’s reaction to Andree coming down the aisle was so sweet. What an honor it is to be able to capture these seemingly fleeting moments that these two won’t ever forget!

Oh also, if you are a part of either of these two families, or wedding party, you have to know how to DANCE. Never in my life have I seen so many twirls, lifts, and spins at a wedding reception. I found out at the reception that Andree’s grandmother and grandfather are competitive dancers, and they required that their grandchildren took dance lessons. Y’all do this for your children and grandchildren please. But really, it was so so much fun and the band they chose was perfect for the party!

Andree and Patrick, we can’t thank you enough for choosing and trusting us to capture your incredible day!
